Romney Rally in Colorado - Photo Essay

PPPS (Littleton)—We sent Photographer Pete to cover the Romney campaign event held this evening at D'Evelyn High School in Jefferson County, Colorado. Unfortunately, Photographer Pete, forgot to take a fresh battery set, so we had to rely on photographs taken by Citizen Pete, who attended the rally.

Here are some photographs that Citizen Pete took with his cell phone. Click on images to enlarge.

Two young Romney enthusiasts who came early.  That's former Congressman Tom Tancredo (orange hat)  talking with State Representative Libby Szabo.

1 1/2 hours before the official event start, the crowd was already well over a thousand.

Singer Jo Dee Messina and her band warmed up the crowd with some  great country music.

As it grew dark, the crowd kept getting bigger, and Jo Dee Messina got them stoked up.

By the time the concert was over, just a few more folks had arrived - probably about 8 to 10,000.

Former Congressman Bob Beauprez really got the crowd fired up.

The crowd got to see the Romney Motorcade turn off the highway.....

....... and arrive at the school (in background right).
In addition to the Pundit Pete Press Service, there was a full press contingent - local, national and international - to cover the event.....

......... and at least one volunteer who spoke Spanish.

JUNTOS CON ROMNEY

(Together with Romney)

As Romney took the stage, the crowd went wild.

After giving his stump speech, Mitt Romney worked the crowd, including a handshake with State Rep. Robert Ramirez......

....... and a photo with Robert's daughter, Lauren.

A great time was had by all.

  3. Thanks Randy and Sooper - It's a great compliment that two Patriots like yourselves enjoyed my photo essay.

Randy, you do a fantastic job heading up the Arapahoe Tea Party, one of the most active in the country.

And SooperMexican, well you are just soooper! For those who have not been to his blog, you should visit soon. Soop has been responsible for some pretty big scoops this year already.

    1. Thanks for the info. It was great to meet you folks. Thanks to Robert, I understand we had a one-vote majority in the State House and we hope that he will return with a few new friends. I will label the photos accordingly. God bless.

  5. I heard one of them say "He should have taken him down and took a yellow card". What a load of cr@p!! Back in the day it would have been, "He should have made a challenge for the ball" but now it's just a case of out and out break all the rules and try and get away with it
