Who was the teacher flipping the bird, do you know? http://stacyontheright.com/2014/05/04/teacher-with-rogue-middle-finger-demonstrates-proper-bullying-technique/
Since posting this video, I have been told that the woman "flipping the bird" is in fact not a teacher, but a parent who was their supporting the teachers. Her gestures were directed at me. However, the rude behavior of the crowd, (which I am told was about 1/2 teachers - I would say probably more) was directed primarily at speakers they disagreed with and at conservative board members. This rude behavior was not isolated to the instance I showed in the video, nor to this board meeting, having begun at the board meeting in Nov or Dec when the new conservative board members were installed and continuing at every board meeting since. The behavior was so bad that it shut down a full-day Saturday board meeting in Jan (or Feb) set to go over the budget, wasting the precious time of all board members, staff and those others in attendance who wanted to attend for reasons other than disruption.
