PPPS (Washington)—Amid heated questions from the press yesterday (did that really happen?), White House Press Secretary Jay Carney carefully explained the process by which a CIA talking points memo about the attacks on the Consulate Diplomatic Facility in Benghazi, Libya came to be altered before its formal release.
