Pundit Pete Opines on Politicians' Pathetic Performance

PPPS (Littleton) Pathetic. Irresponsible. Reckless. Criminal.

The citizens of this great land pay the price for the politicians' pathetic performance. And it was all preventable. All they had to do was pass Cut, Cap and Balance in the Senate. Or a few months earlier, to pass the Ryan plan.



But the cowards, chief among them Harry Reid (followed by our two Senators from Colorado), could not even allow a discussion. For to have that discussion might have revealed the emptiness of their arguments, or worse, to have resulted in the measure passing (it's easier to defend a vote to table, than a vote to deny a solution).

And instead we got a worthless "compromise" in the 11th hour, after they had months and months to work on a solution. The final bill was so inadequate that Standard &amp &Poors had to downgrade our credit.

Pathetic. Irresponsible, reckless and criminal. And the press is totally complicit.

And then they have the gall to blame the Tea Party.  The Tea Party has been the one voice of reason from the beginning. Outrageous and shameful. Thanks to the Tea Party, the Republicans at least offered some solutions to turning the tide on our debt.

But the President, the Press and the Senate Democrats were not after solutions. There only concerns have been about power and reelection, not the welfare of our nation. Criminal. Shameful. Pathetic.

For this we will defeat you.
