PPPS (Mara Lago)—In a rebuttal to President Obama's announcement to expel Russian diplomats as punishment for alleged Russian hacking and exposure of Democrat Party election corruption, President-Elect Donald Trump issued a very brief statement this morning at his vacation home in Mara Lago, Florida.
Here is his statement:
"President Obama had his chances to protect our nation's cyber security, but he canceled a key cyber warfare weapons program and chose to ignore the problem until it impacted the Democrat Party. Then, between golf outings, and in a pathetic attempt to delegitimize my Huge election victory, he chose a weak Kitchen Table Diplomacy solution which he thought would frighten Putin. What a loser. Putin could not be happier.
On my first day in office, I will issue an executive order to immediately resume building and deployment of a terrific new cyber security weapon, to be completed by the end of my first month in office, right after I've built that wall along the Mexican border....which, by the way, Mexico will pay for.
This weapon is so deadly and so precise that Russia and China, and probably even North Korea and Iran, will immediately end their cyber attacks on our nation's key data infrastructure. I may not even have to use it.....but then again, I might.
Oh, and by the way, I'll get China to pay for it.
Thank you. No questions at this time. My staff will release a declassified photo of the new weapon, so that the you corrupt press folks can freak out and write more lies about me.
Happy New Year everyone. We are going to Make America Great Again."
Immediately after the conclusion of the President-Elect's statement, we were issued the photo of the new cyber security weapon that appears at the top of this news article.
There was no immediate response from President Obama, who is vacationing in Hawaii.
There are rumors that the Trump administration my also be developing a plan to address the domestic hacking problem, most often perpetrated by young males living in their parents' basements. Our sources indicate the new program has been dubbed the "Basement Bunker Buster Bomb Project" - but that has not been confirmed. Quoting one unnamed source: "We'll be able to take them out while they're still in their pajamas."
PPPS (Chappaqua, NY)—With the selection of Donald J. Trump as President-Elect now confirmed by the Electoral College, and Secretary Hillary Clinton's surprising election loss now starting to appear final, Hillary and Bill may be moving on.
Pre-Release Copy - NOT FOR DISTRIBUTION
Hillary Clinton's trusted aide and confidant, Huma Abedin, released a statement this morning that the Clintons will be launching a nation-wide book tour beginning in January.
Their new book, titled Dead Broke No More, is scheduled for release on January 20, 2017, and is likely to become the defining guide to achieving financial success while serving in public office.
PPPS has obtained this exclusive, pre-release copy of the cover.
It is being reported that Simon & Schuster, in an effort to recoup losses from Hillary Clinton's last book, Hard Choices, only offered the Clinton's an advance barely equal to a single one of the couple's previous speaking fees.
PPPS (Littleton)—With the country in turmoil over the recent election, some are cautioning against discussing politics around the Thanksgiving table this year, and others are urging folks to take the opportunity to persuade relatives to see their point of view.
At the Pundit Pete Press Service we think political discussions can be a good thing. In that spirit, our own CEO and Editor-In-Chief, Pundit Pete, offers up his suggestion for a helpful conversation starter.
PPPS (New York)—In a major change of editorial focus, the mainstream media has begun writing satire. Media watchers have diagnosed the problem as a severe bout of Trump Derangement Syndrome, brought on by the recent presidential election.
We can only hope that the ailment is temporary, as continued competition in the satire genre could force layoffs at the Pundit Pete Press Service.
Here is the latest example, from NBC News in the form of a screen capture. (full article link here).
Screen Capture from the NBC News web page
We realize that for the mainstream press, a dinner out for a president-elect or presidential candidate, is usually preceded by a notification:
either that an important photo opportunity is being made available to the press pool;
or that, in the case of the Hillary Clinton campaign, an important strategy meeting has been scheduled.
In the later case, of course, the media is invited to dine WITH the candidate. At these dinners, no reporting, audio or video recordings are allowed and certain media outlets are always excluded.
Here is more from the NBC article:
With his Tuesday night actions, the Trump Administration is shaping up to be the least accessible to the public and the press in modern history.
A week after the election, Trump hasn't yet held a press conference, the longest any recent president has waited to speak to the press. That continues a weeks-long drought that's been going on since mid-summer, when Trump last answered questions from the press.
This is really funny stuff. We only wish we had written it ourselves.
PPPS (Littleton)—The defeat of Hillary Clinton in the 2016 Presidential Election truly marks the end of an era in U.S. politics. What will there be to cover after this?
PPPS (New York)—The New York Times has just released what could arguably be called the best satire post ever, in the form of a mea culpa letter to its readers. In an amusing twist, The Grey Lady, the Newspaper of Record, has now decided to start practicing journalism.
Here is the letter, H/T to Times reporter Sydney Ember @melbournecoa:
PPPS (Littleton)—In the interest of helping guide our nation in a new direction of healing after last nights historic presidential election upset, the Pundit Pete Press Service has developed a brief list of post-election survey questions. Q - To which country do you think the Clintons should emigrate to avoid prosecution? Q - Do you think there are any countries still interested, given their recent loss of political clout? Q - Do you think Bill and Hillary will settle in separate countries, or the same one? Q - Do you think Barack Obama will join them? Q - Can a lame-duck president pardon an entire political party, or will it be necessary to name specific party leaders, consultants, staff, and media participants? Q - In today's post election market, what do you think the going rate for a pardon should be? Q - Will James O'Keefe or Julian Assange be awarded a Pulitzer Prize in 2017? Q - Will CNN change its name back to Cable News Network, or will it continue to operate as the Clinton News Network? Q - Will any mainstream media staff be fired for their active participation in a presidential campaign, or will they be all be promoted?
Memo Hacked from Anthony Weiner Laptop Source: Promiscuous Pete
PPPS (DC)—BREAKING NEWS: KEY EMAIL INVESTIGATION DOCUMENT FOUND
Exclusive: Promiscuous Pete, mysterious hacker, sent to PPPS a copy of the key document believed to be responsible in yesterday's announcement that the FBI is reopening the Hillary Clinton email investigation, a memo. Read it above.
Apparently, the FBI decision to reopen the case was the result of documents found on a laptop computer owned by former Democrat Representative Anthony Weiner, estranged husband of longtime aide to Hillary Clinton, Huma Abedin. (The FBI was investigating Rep. Weiner in an unrelated child pornography matter.)
While the FBI has not been transparent in revealing the contents of files found on the Weiner laptop, citing the ongoing investigation, there was an indication that there may be thousands of emails—perhaps as many as 30,000.
Promiscous Pete is a longtime friend of Weiner, and is suspected to have been responsible for past leaks of Weiner "junk" photos posted on the PeteyLeaks website (although some sources believe that Weiner may have posted the photos himself). Pete is also believed to have been responsible for past hacks of the PPPS website.
The memo is addressed to Hillary Clinton from Huma Abedin on the subject of emails, with notes back from Hillary. At first glance, itt appears to exonerate Secretary Clinton, as the the email classifications all marked for deletion appear to involve personal and charity subjects and not official State Department business. However, in the interest of transparency, we are posting the memo to let our readers decide.
Promiscuous Pete, in the email to PPPS transmitting the Memo, claims to have hacked Weiner's laptop and obtained thousands of documents and photos. The subject memo was included in an unsecured directory labeled Huma_Work_Files, which also included subdirectories labeled Files_To_Save and Files_To_Delete.
Promiscuous Pete also claims to have thousands of emails from both subdirectories, including many that have not previously been released. He is considering posting those emails to the PeteyLeaks blog site after the election.
PPPS (DC)—In a recent statement, Hillary Clinton acknowledged that her decades of experience in government and with the Clinton Foundation entitle her to certain privileges - privileges which give her an advantage in carrying out the duties of President and Commander-In-Chief on behalf of the American people. In stating her case for election, Secretary Clinton pointed out that she has earned her broad-based support from the media and key government officials, support that will be needed to bring our country back together and govern effectively.
We asked our own Graphic Artist, Pixel Pete, to illustrate this advantage to help citizens in deciding how to vote in the November 8th election.

PPPS (Denver)—In an astonishing series of events this campaign season, perpetrated by Democratic candidates and Democrat-leaning press outlets, a disturbing pattern of racism appears to be emerging in Colorado politics.
Whether by commission, or by omission, black GOP party officials and candidates have been systematically discriminated against by their political opponents and by press outlets like the Denver Post. All of this begs the question: has racism started to become a part and parcel of the Democrat Party and its supporters, or is it just re-emerging out of the dark recesses of that party's sordid past?
At the Pundit Pete Press Service, we are proud to be at the leading edge of investigative journalism in our home state of Colorado, and will be pursuing these issues with the kind of professional integrity that once characterized the journalism profession. Towards that end, we have also formed an independent, non-partisan panel to oversee these investigations, the:
Committee to Stamp Out Racism in Colorado Politics
One of the first projects supervised by the Committee will be to produce informative print and video materials to educate the citizens to take up the cause to stamp out racism in Colorado politics. Our first item is actually one submitted by an engaged PPPS reader, Citizen Pete, to which the Committee has agreed to lend it's distinguished stamp of approval.

This post is dedicated to all of the grassroots volunteers and delegates who we met at the Colorado GOP Convention on April 9, 2016 from all over the great State of Colorado.
Colorado GOP Convention, Colorado Springs, April 9, 2016
These are our friends and fellow grassroots activists, Tea Party members and long-time Republicans, county chairs and first-time caucus attendees, young and old, very conservative and not-as-conservative, all gathered together to move our country forward, select senate candidates for the June primary election, and to elect delegates to the GOP National Convention, who will help to select our next president.
These are the Patriotic Americans that the Donald Trump Campaign compared to Nazis, using Gestapo tactics.
These are the delegates that Donald Trump totally ignored until a week before the convention.
This is the crowd who would have loved to hear a Trump speech, even if a majority were supporting his opponent, Senator Ted Cruz.
But Donald Trump couldn't be bothered to show up.
Instead, after he lost all of the Colorado delegates to Senator Ted Cruz, the Donald directed his staff and supporters to whine, and to make false accusations about a delegate selection process he didn't bother to understand, or choose to participate in.
This week, Trump was back in New York, among the people who share his values, complaining that the whole Colorado delegate selection process was a "totally corrupt rigged system" designed by the GOP establishment to prevent him from attaining his Trump-Given Right to be nominated for president.
Well, I've got some news for you Mr. Trump, and for all of the media and pundits who bought into your bogus narrative. It's going to backfire, big time.
Graphic from Joseph Wade Miller, Marine
You see, Colorado politics and the process of selecting candidates and delegates is all about showing up, starting at your local precinct caucus (held on March 1). It's a truly grassroots process, and it's been done that way for over 100 years.
Anyone, and I mean ANYONE, who is registered Republican, can show up and be part of a local precinct caucus. A precinct is the smallest political delineation for elections and holding party meetings. In an urban area it might encompass several blocks, basically your larger neighborhood. In rural Colorado it might include all or a large portion of a county. Typically, a precinct contains a few to several hundred GOP voters.
Anyone, and I mean ANYONE, can be selected by their fellow caucus attendees to be a delegate to their county and congressional district assemblies, and yes, even to the state GOP convention. Anyone. It was estimated that about 40 percent of the over 4,000 delegates and alternates at this year's convention were new to the process. Some of them drove six or more hours to get there, and stayed in motels at their own expense.
And here is the little-known fact that all the pundits and press have failed to report:
Anyone, and I mean ANYONE, who is a registered Republican, could have filled out a form and been listed as a delegate to the National GOP Convention. Anyone. You didn't even have to attend your caucus - the form was posted online at your state or county GOP website. On that form you had to designate either that you were supporting a particular candidate or were running as un-pledged. Most listed themselves as un-pledged.
Colorado GOP Vice-Chairman Derrick Wilburn
That is precisely why there were over 600 national delegate candidates listed at the state convention, and about an equal number of candidates combined at the seven congressional district assemblies. Out of that thousand or so candidates, only 13 would be selected at the state convention, and 21 at the congressional assemblies (3 each), plus an equal number of alternate delegates, to go to the national convention in Cleveland. Add the Colorado GOP Chairman, and one man and one woman delegate to the RNC, and you have the total of 37 delegates frequently mentioned in the press.
Note that, only one, let me repeat that, ONLY ONE out of that 37 is part of the GOP establishment, the Colorado GOP Chairman, Steve House. All of the others were elected in a process that began with electing delegates to the state convention and the congressional district meetings at the local precinct caucuses. Delegates were also selected to attend county assemblies where candidates for local office, and the state legislature are selected through votes.
That is grassroots, baby. No other way to describe it.
Unless you are the Donald. Then you describe it as the party establishment disenfranchising potential Trump delegates. Give me a break.
If any potential Trump voters were "disenfranchised", it was because of the failure of the Trump Team to reach out and educate their supporters about the process of electing delegates. No one told them to show up. Or maybe there just aren't that many Trump supporters in Colorado. Out of 22 people at my own caucus, not one supported Trump.
Celebrating a clean delegate sweep before Senator Cruz speaks.
However, somehow, all those Cruz supporters managed to figure things out. The grassroots activists know who the real conservative running for president is, and they came out to support him and all of the other patriotic candidates up and down the line in Colorado. That is the real story.
Oh, and here is a message for Mr. Trump. Maybe you hadn't heard, but Colorado is a critical swing state. This fall, just who do you think is going to be out there making phone calls for you, walking precincts for you, calling into radio shows, and donating money, if you get the GOP nomination? Maybe your admiring followers will be doing all that work for you - the same people who couldn't figure out the delegate process.
But, it sure ain't gonna be the tea party activists and the stalwart Republicans who put on the caucuses, who stepped up to be delegates, who drove hundreds of miles to attend the convention. Unless you forget, those are all the hardworking people who your campaign just likened to Nazis. Good luck with that.
What a dumbass lying loser you are Mr. Trump.
—Citizen Pete
A message from one of the Delegates I proudly helped elect to represent us in Cleveland, Kristi Burton Brown.

PPPS (Littleton)—As we celebrate the six-year anniversary of the passage of the Affordable Care Act, let us remember those who voted for it this November at the ballot box.
PPPS (Littleton)—Our esteemed CEO and Editor-In-Chief of the Pundit Pete Press Service has finally broken his silence on the 2016 Presidential Election, and is endorsing one candidate, over all others, for President of the United States.
"I do solemnly swear
(or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the
United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend
the Constitution of the United States."
That is the oath every president takes on the steps of our nation's capitol upon inauguration, and it is the same oath that many presidents, and most members of Congress, routinely violate soon after we send them there to do the "peoples' business".
In case you haven't noticed, our nation is in trouble and our freedoms are at risk.
Instead of the "peoples' business", most of what takes place in Washington, DC is about the business of growing government and granting favors - all at the expense of We the People, dearly paid for through the fruits of our labor and the diminution of our freedoms.
It is time for We the People to reclaim and reestablish a government of the people, by the people, and for the people. And there is one candidate for president who stands above all others through both his rhetoric and his actions, who has demonstrated that he will go to Washington, DC on behalf of We the People and will honor his oath to defend the Constitution.
His name is Ted Cruz, and I am endorsing him for President.
PPPS (Chapaqua, NY)—Our graphic artist, Pixel Pete, submitted this for our upcoming special report honoring famous couples who have stayed together through many ups and downs. Consider it a preview.
PPPP (Pea Green Corner, CO)—As we dive into the heart of the presidential nomination process for both parties, we will be printing opinions from loyal readers and staff on why they are supporting different candidates. First up to bat is guest contributor and long-time malcontent, Persnickety Pete.
Pete is the author of the book Manufacturing Anger, considered by some to be the bible of the Tea Party movement. In addition to submitting articles as a guest contributor, Pete also consults as a professional irritant.
Why I'm Voting for Donald Trump —Persnickety Pete
When ya asked me who I'm support'n in this crazy presidential race, I was gonna say, "That ain't none o' yer damned business!"
But after thoughtful reflection while snowshoe'n up on the mesa (and maybe a pinch o' special Colorado weed), I decided to tell who I'm gonna vote for. This note is addressed to the Republican Party, especially the leadership in DC.
Let me put it this a way:
If you GOP senators and representatives had even tried to do what we elected you to do in 2010 and 2014......then we wouldn't need the Donald;
And if the GOP leaders and other presidential candidates had spoken back to, and maybe even tried to humiliate those leftists in the press, or the president, or Hillary, or the Pope.....err, scratch the Pope....then we wouldn't need the Donald;
And if you had taken seriously what the folks were tell'n you about illegal immigration and Islamic terrorism, instead of worrying about what the press thinks....then we wouldn't need the Donald;
And if the GOP leadership had spent more time opposing Obama than trashing true conservatives like Ted Cruz and the Freedom Caucus....then we wouldn't need the Donald.
And if you had at least acknowledged, if not thanked, those good folks in the Tea Party movement who worked their asses off getting you majorities in Congress....then we wouldn't need the Donald.
But instead, YOU DIDN'T LISTEN, and after we gave you everything,YOU STILL SCREWED UP!
Soooooo.......now we have the Donald.
We don't care anymore whether Donald Trump is a real conservative. We just want him to bust some heads in DC.
And right now, GOP Leadership, the heads we want busted first.....ARE YOURS!
PPPS (San Francisco)—With a protest here on Friday, and many more planned for this weekend in sanctuary cities around the nation, illegal immigrant groups are hoping to shame the GOP and influence the 2016 presidential election. Their chosen theme, however, may need some adjustment.

PPPS (somewhere in NH)—Following are insightful observations of the GOP Presidential Debate held in New Hampshire (which is near Berniestan /Vermont) from our CEO and Editor-In-Chief, Pundit Pete.
Thoughts on the GOP Debate in NH—Pundit Pete
Disclaimers: This review only applies to the portions of the debate where I was awake.
Overall Winner: Senator Ted Cruz
Overall Losers: Senator Rubio & Dr. Carson (tie)
Lamest Insult: Donald Trump (before his closing)
Best Smackdown: Gov. Christie on Sen. Rubio
Best Hillary Basher: Carly Fiorina....oops, not there
Least Coherent on the Issues: Donald Trump
Best Non-Entrance: Dr. Carson & Gov. Kasich (tie)
Best Questioner: Mary Katharine Ham
Biggest Losers: David Muir & Martha Raddatz
I thought Cruz won the debate and continues to be the most level-headed and strongest Conservative on that stage. I could easily picture him as President.
All of them on that stage (and one who was not) would be infinitely better for America than Hillary, Bernie, Fauxcahontas, or the BFD VP, Joe Biden.
I thought Christie did a good job exposing the politician side of Rubio. It was a bit uncomfortable. Still, Rubio is probably more conservative than Christie. I thought neither came out too well in that exchange.
What a shame ABC left out Carly Fiorina, who would have kept the focus on Hillary and not on damaging the other GOP candidates........come to think of it, given the tone of most of the questions, that is EXACTLY why ABC did not want her on that stage. Could ABC be waging a war on conservative women?
Trump was his usually insulting self, and his lack of substance on issues is starting to look bad. (Do your homework man). "I'll be terrific" and "win, win, win" are not good substitutse for a cogent answer on replacing Obamacare, or any other topic.
Dr. Carson, as much as I admire him and his exemplary character, just doesn't have the political instincts to make his case. (Stoke the fires man.) It didn't help that he got the fewest questions of anyone on that stage. Could ABC be racist?
The rest don't matter. Thanks for stepping up. Time to leave now.
I'm going with Cruz at this point. You can call that an endorsement.
PPPS (Washington, DC)—The recent near-record snowfall in our nation's capitol is both a joy to school kids and a bane to government workers, many of whom have been prevented from serving the American people in their important roles.
There is one particularly tragic outcome of the snow blocking the DC streets; the State Department is apparently unable to deliver the most recent batch of 55,000 Hillary Clinton emails in response to a court order. The State Department is requesting a one-month delay.
And of course, those evil Republicans are crying foul.
In the spirit of public service, our PPPS DC Bureau Chief (who made it in to work on skis) has decided to send out a CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS to assist the staff at the State Department in meeting their deadline.
CALLING ON PATRIOTS W/ PICKUPS
Help is needed to deliver several boxes of emails across town.
