Pundit Pete's 2022 Predictions

PPPS (Littleton)—With 2021 finally in the rearview mirror, our esteemed Editor-In-Chief, Pundit Pete, has issued his Predictions for 2022. 

1. Illegals Will Sue Cartels in 2022

With a generous cash settlement courtesy of U.S. taxpayers apparently off the table, look for illegal immigrants and their Leftist lawyers to re-aim their mistreatment, separation and trauma lawsuits at the Mexican Cartels in 2022. 

Pundit Pete is so confident in the success of this endeavor that he has directed our own corporate attorney Pleader Pete to get in on the action (and a generous cut of the resulting cash settlements). We will update our readers on the lawsuit status, just as soon as we hear back from Pleader Pete, who is making initial inquiries south of the border (he's only been missing for a few days now).

2. Democrats Will Win Big in the 2022 Midterms

All of the major polling outfits, and most of the TV pundits are now predicting a major win for the GOP in the 2022 midterm elections. But those same major polling outfits and TV pundits have been notoriously wrong in their predictions over the past few election cycles. 

Here at the Pundit Pete Press Service, we have undertaken a different polling and prediction approach, seeking out the underlying trends in politics that others passed over. Relying on a unique and proprietary polling method in which we are able to sample deceased voters, PPPS has identified a major underground shift in voter attitudes going into 2022.

In 2020, the extremely large dead voter block voted almost exclusively for Trump, allowing him to come remarkably close to winning the presidential election. However, one year into the Biden administration, this voting block appears to have turned over. 

With references to President Biden's shuffles on stage as akin to a "dead man walking", the resent Democrat Build Back Better legislation described as "dead in the water", Biden's policy decision making process described as "brain dead", with both the Democrats' and Biden's approval ratings in a "death spiral", dead voters have taken note.

"The Dems are just like us. Dead. So, they've got my vote", blushed one deceased Chicago voter, who proudly displayed a Grover Cleveland pin commemorating the first election he ever voted in. "In fact, I'm gonna vote Democrat in several states this year." he added.

Based on these trends, Pundit Pete is now predicting a filibuster and veto-proof Congress. With such an overwhelming majority, Democrats will be able to pass Democracy-Restoring, Covid- Crushing, and Climate-Saving legislation at Biden's bidding starting in 2023.

Just remember, you heard it here first.

As part of his research for the book, Practical Pete developed a  political quiz which was administered to several focus groups consisting of PPPS low-information readers who self-selected by responding to a reader survey. The results of the survey and focus group sessions were used in evaluating the most practical tools of politics to be included in the book. We anticipate that Pete's book and the associated Tools of Politics Quiz may form the basis for instruction in political science at several leading universities, Ivy League schools in particular.

Dems Ditch Donkey, Flip to the Bird

PPPS (Washington, DC)—At the end of a week of Impeachment Fever in our nation's capitol, the Democrat Party unveiled a new mascot more representative of current direction of the party.

The new mascot was unveiled late in the day on Friday in a hastily convened press conference led by Acting Speaker of the House, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, accompanied by other members of the party leadership.

The new mascot design, featuring a common loon, was finally adopted after heated debate in the Democrat Party Caucus. Speaker-In-Name-Only Nancy Pelosi, who earlier in the week had expressed opposition to the change, apparently flipped under pressure, and finally gave her approval.


Our sources within the Democrat Caucus indicate that another mascot, the Hyena, was initially considered as representative of the party's tenacity in pursuing impeachment of President Trump, but was ultimately rejected because "hyenas aren't nice."

Is Political Rhetoric Over the Top?

PPPS (Littleton)—As the 2018 election fast approaches, we have one question:

Is the political rhetoric a bit over the top?

But, in considering the consequence of a Democrat takeover of our Republic and our personal freedoms, PROBABLY NOT.

BREAKING NEWS: #SchumerShutdown Begins

PPPS (Washington, DC)—After negotiations to continue funding federal deficit spending broke down in the Senate, the Democrats' shutdown of the federal government began at midnight this morning.

Because the Trump administration refuses to weaponize what is being referred to as the #SchumerShutdown, most Americans won't notice a thing. Our staff has summed it up nicely.

There are a few others, however who see the #SchumerShutdown in a more serious light - take this tweet for example:

We at PPPS, however, find it hard to believe that the much-admired Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer (of #SchumerShutdown fame) of New York, and other Democrats in Congress, would EVER put any political maneuver or partisan politics above the interests of their fellow American citizens, the government services they may receive, the people who defend our nation, or the booming economy which is lifting millions out of poverty.

That thought is just too implausible to believe, the above tweet message not withstanding.
